Nothing in this World is a coincidence, even what seems without a purpose will sooner or later reveal its true meaning. Just the fact you came to this place means that something connects us.
The EXCHANGE happening is what can charge us all with energy, without one sacrificing more than there is to gain. I recognized most of my desires, drives, fears, questions and answers can be channelled to the world and resolved by means of the right communication.
Music played a large role in my life since I was a little boy. To this day I’m working to find the voice that genuinely connects my inner truth to the outside world. I love whenever it happens with an artist, regardless of the person, the genre or the circumstance. When you see someone tapping into their inner truth with pure intention, it’s like a high for everybody that’s involved. That is why I’m making music - next to it being my passion -
it also resembles the largest mountain yet to climb…because I want to get YOU high as well, and I don’t mean a little high, I mean in a way that the most high himself is present and appearant.
Tom Jeefs (born June 6, 1992 in Vienna, Austria) is a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. He started recording music in the early 2000’s, at a young age using cheap consumer equipment. His interest in the technical aspect of recoding music led him to study music production and work on his own songs, rather than recording in an established studio.
In the late 2000’s when Tom was 18 years old he started collaborating and working with local artists in his personal studio, slowly expanding his catalogue to hundreds of songs across all genres, not only as an artists but also as a producer and engineer.
In Summer 2011 Tom Jeefs released his first full length studio-album titled „Classic“, which was a blend of classic 2000’s Hiphop, Pop / Rock Influences and his own perspective from an unlikely place to be producing English speaking Hiphop music from.
The project was followed up in 2012 by „HiDef“, a 15-track album, containing local and international features from Ashleigh Munn, Jae Havana, str8jakkett, A.Y. and more.
The deeply rooted influence of the golden Era of Rap became apparent with the 2013 track „The Backlash“, form the equally titled EP, featuring Rapper Mark Deez and Hiphop-veteran Canibus. The 10-track EP is dominated by hard lyrical raps with long verses far beyond 16 bars.
In 2016 Tom Jeefs released his 4th full length project titled „Rhyme Fidelity“. The EP was largely recorded in 2015 and pushed back for release. The 10-track-EP features Majestic Gage from the Bronx, and once again Kansas-based rapper str8jakkett. Also featured on this EP was the song „Digitsss“, one of the early Jeefs Songs showcasing Trap influences on the beat and flow.
After a two year break producing only a few guest-appearances and randomly released songs Tom Jeefs finally followed up on the last day of 2018, releasing the 15-Track LP „Breakin’ Habits“. Shortly after we heard for the first time two collaborations with Nigerian artists showing clear dancehall/afro-pop influences - „Irreplaceable“ featuring Toa Baba and the single „Tomorrow will be better“ featuring Excess.
Also released in 2019 was a 5-Track EP titled „Xrucify J“, distributed exclusively to Spotify.
